The Shopify + FB Ads Method Explosion!

By | December 22, 2015

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I have been super busy trying and testing out different methods trying to find something of value. Well, I have found something that worked for me, and some other people, in fact, I started a little bit of an “explosion” on BHW and the IM community.

If you frequent forums, you may remember this thread I created.

This was over a month ago, and after having some mild success with this method, a lot of people began opening up their own journey threads.

.. to name a few.

There’s also been a little bit of criticism, as well as people “poking fun” at the sudden explosion of “Franklin Hattchet Method” threads. for example.

..but at the end of the day, we have found ourselves a method that works. I’ve proven it works for me, and several other members have done it as well (with even more success).

Even though I have pretty much explained and answered almost all questions in each and every one of those threads, I will briefly go over it again to save you guys some leg work, but you can also resort back to any of those threads at any time as a secondary resource.

Now.. the original “Franklin Hattchet Method” is a little bit different than what I did, I added my own “twist” to it. The original method requires you utilizing Facebook Ads. To be honest, I am not very experienced in that field, so I am not going to sit here and try to act like I know something that I don’t, so I will just stick to what I know and what worked for me.

So if I didn’t use Ads, how did I get traffic to my “giveaway”? I used social media accounts that I have been building for awhile now in various niches. The main account I used was over a year old (with 20k+ followers), and I built it all up painstakingly by hand (this was before I knew bots like TumblingJazz existed.)

So yeah, I used Tumblr for my giveaway, without doing much (posting twice a day for one week) I got around 30 sales total.

I only promoted the giveaway for one week. Why? Well, I don’t want to be too spammy to my followers. Also, it was nearing the holidays, so I didn’t want to take any orders and have people expecting their package before Christmas and be disappointed if it didn’t happen. Now that the new year is approaching, I am gearing up for a new giveaway, and lucky for me I’ve gained around 5k+ new followers sense the last promotion. 🙂

Like I said, the “original” method required you spending money on Facebook ads, but I’ve found that a large targeted social account will do just fine. Check out this guy who made $700+ using Instagram

I’m not sure if he used a bot or not (I’m still new to Instagram), but I do know that Instagress seems to be the go-to for growing large Instagram accounts.

The point is, it seems we have found a working money making method using Shopify, as Frank put it, this is the new “tee spring” method and now’s the time to take advantage of it before it becomes overly saturated.

Good luck to everyone who has tried and stuck with this method, I wish you all great success and profit. 🙂
